Waiting for a miracle is a profession without profit. You can linger for ages for that amazing moment that will change you common days, that will repair you eyes. You can wait in silence a life, just looking at the way, waiting for that car to stop. And you know, deep in your heart, that there’s everything but a car. However, when you are tired, when the options of success are worst than zero. Then, behind the night, appears the miracle that you were longing for, and it’s exactly as you have expected: simple and natural. You smile; you, perhaps, say some ridicule words and everything begins to have sense. This miracle is not other but a hand combing you hair. The same thing happens with songs; they emerge to catch your heart in certain moments without reason, without logic. They give you breath.
With this episode Arroz Amargo gets two years. It has been a long and beautiful road and to celebrate it next Sunday I’ll chose one song of each episode and make a sort of special show. Making this podcast has been amazing, to select the songs, to try to give them a sense is just beautiful. I have to thank you everyone who listen, you are great.
